Owner & Advanced Shooting Coach
Michael Pinker was a lifelong friend of mine, we learnt to shoot together and it therefore seemed natural for me to take on what Michael had established, and to maintain its reputation as one of the countries premiere shooting grounds. I would love to welcome you to come and enjoy the grounds, and try some of the upgraded and improved facilities we have to offer.
Ernie has recently attended the APSI training courses and is available to instruct from time to time. He enjoys teaching all ages and abilities and passing on his sixty years of shooting experience.

Advanced Shooting Coach
Duncan’s love of shooting, and in particular game shooting, stems back thirty years. He joined Lady’s Wood as an Instructor, having spent most of his working career running sales and operations teams in the commercial sector.
Duncan is a keen and passionate shot. His sons now regularly join him in the field participating in all aspects of shooting and conservation and can often be found showing the “old man” a thing or two, both of whom have been taught by him.
Front of House
Helen spent twenty years in Personal/Commercial Banking before joining the team at Lady’s Wood in May 2013.
When she isn’t ensuring the smooth day to day running in the lodge, she spends time enjoying a variety of country pursuits.
A novice shot looking to improve but more likely to be found in the beating line of a local game shoot.

Richard’s main roles include maintaining grounds and traps, as well as assisting instructors by trapping.
Richard is a very keen clay and game shot himself, and is also APSI qualified.
