You’ll be made to feel at home from the moment you step foot inside our beautiful Cotswold stone shooting lodge. Plus – unless you’ve booked in to enjoy the Bowman Sporting Practice – you’ll be accompanied by your own dedicated shooting instructors throughout your visit, who are on hand to ensure you make the most of your time with us.

A chance to explore 55 acres of natural woodland and open fields

Here at Lady’s Wood, we’re incredibly proud of our beautiful grounds located on the Southern edge of the Cotswolds. We truly believe no other shooting school can match our unique and picturesque setting. During your visit, you’ll have plenty of time to explore our 55 acres of woodland and green spaces alongside your instructor.

If you keep a watchful eye out, you may be lucky enough to spy some of our resident wildlife: deer, rabbits and an abundance of birds (not forgetting the peacocks in the car park!). With plenty of outdoor seating near the lodge, why not sit and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee after you finish shooting?

State of the art facilities

Our expert tuition is perfectly complemented by our wide range of state-of-the-art clay shooting facilities. Our 55 acres are home to a range of challenging targets, as well as our grouse butt and six onsite targets, ranging from 15-120ft. In the summer of 2020, we added to our line-up of targets, with seven new stands (forming part of our Bowman Sporting Practice pay and play system).

From shooting lessons and caddied practices, to Flush and Flurry days and larger corporate events there are endless ways to enjoy a clay pigeon shooting experience at Lady’s Wood.

Our clay shooting lessons cater to both beginners and experienced shots alike whilst our taster package is the perfect choice for small groups of beginners looking to try their hand at clay shooting.

The chance to discover a new hobby

Lots of our first-time guests visit us as part of a corporate event, stag or hen party or perhaps for one of our taster sessions, having never experienced clay pigeon shooting before. Many are pleasantly surprised to discover a hidden talent for shooting they didn’t know they possessed.
